Spend the morning at Silver Springs State Park and enjoy a relaxing Glass Bottom Boat ride to see the springs and see their Discovery Center Museum where you learn of Silver Springs history, the native wildlife and her place in movie history! Then it’s on to the famous Ivy House Restaurant for country home cookin’. Visit Fort King, an exact replica of the actual fort built in 1827 to control Chief Osceola and the Seminole Indians. Learn how two events that happened at Fort King, marked the beginning of the Second Seminole War that lasted for 7 years!
