Our Rules and Regulations at Royal Coach Tours & Cruises
Call Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. at (386) 788-0208 to check on the availability of a tour and to sign-up. Payment in full is required on all day trips. For cruises and overnight tours only, a deposit is required.
Major credit cards are accepted on cruises and tours with airplane tickets. For everything else, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. accepts checks in US Funds or Zelle (a free bank transfer) to [email protected].
Checks must be received within 7 business days of the reservation date or our computer automatically cancels your tour. Always put the tour date(s) on the bottom of your checks.
Once payment has been received, a paid confirmation will be emailed or mailed to the person on the check, with all tour information. It is your responsibility to tell those you paid for about our policies and departure time.
Final tour information: Approximately 3-4 days prior to departure, you will receive an email reconfirming times and your boarding location. Please check your email. We will telephone you if you don’t have an email.
Seats on the coach are assigned from front to back in the order that we received payment.
If you have a special seating request or a physical handicap, please let us know at the time of booking your reservation and we will try to accommodate you. If you need to sit in the front due to motion sickness, a physician’s note is required.
Persons traveling alone or in an odd-numbered group of three or five will usually need to share a row with another passenger. We try to keep friends together. On multi-day tours, we rotate seats daily.
Our motor coach holds 56 passengers and has a restroom, free Wi-Fi, and electrical outlets. Punctuality is extremely important. Each person should remain seated and only move about if going to the restroom.
Please confirm your pickup location at the time of booking the reservation. Bus pickup locations are Ormond Beach Wal-Mart Parking Lot at the corner of I-95 and Granada Blvd., Port Orange Target on Dunlawton Ave. and New Smyrna Beach Wal-Mart Parking Lot on SR 44, west of I-95.
We sometimes pick up at the Orange City Park ‘n Drive at Saxon and I-4 when the bus is going west. We may have additional pickup locations with 40 or more guests, provided they are 20 miles from another pickup.
Royal Coach Tours & Cruises and parking lot owners accept no responsibility for any vehicles left at these locations but we do have permission to park the cars there. Overnight bus locations are different.
Should you cancel your tour for any reason a full refund in the form of future tour credit will be given only if we are without penalty from the vendor and we are able to resell the seat from our waiting list.
Name changes are permitted on day trips; we just ask that you call us with a name change if possible. No refunds or credits for no-shows or missed buses. Any cancellations are always subject to each tour vendor’s policies and vary per tour.
Cancellations beyond our control due to acts of nature or a pandemic are non-refundable but will be rescheduled for a later date with credit applied. Cancellations by Royal Coach Tours & Cruises prior to tour departure, due to a lack of guest bookings, will be refunded in full by agency check.
Royal Coach Tours & Cruises is licensed to sell and highly recommends cancellation travel insurance and the cost is non-refundable. Allianz Global Assistance will reimburse you for cancellation fees in the event you must cancel or interrupt your trip.
This coverage includes medical insurance, as some Medicare does not cover claims outside the U.S.A. It also covers emergency medical evacuation for medical flights to the nearest hospital best able to serve your needs, baggage loss, trip delay, and even cancellations due to recent acts of terrorism, and airline, cruise Lines, or tour companies that go out of business. Please ask for prices.
The bus driver works hard to ensure that your tour is kept on schedule, the bus is clean, comfortable, and so everyone arrives safely. Your driver’s gratuities are not included in the price of your tour.
The industry suggestion for day trips is $2.50 to $3.00 per person and will be collected by the tour director at the end of the tour. The industry suggestion for driver gratuities on overnight tours is $5 to $6.00 per person, per day.
Remember, your driver also sees that your luggage is handled with care and accounted for. Industry suggestion for tipping of services of a guide narrating a city tour or docent at a museum is $1/per person. Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. operates only non-smoking tours. We stop every two to three hours for “stretch and smoke breaks.” We ask that you smoke at least 10 feet away from the coach.
Due to medical reasons, perfume, cologne, and aftershave are never permitted on the bus. If detected, you will not be allowed to board the bus and absolutely no refund will be given. This is very important and strictly enforced and no exceptions. This is for everyone’s safety and we appreciate you complying with this rule.
Vaping, carry and concealed weapons, and knives over four inches are not allowed on the coach.
Cell phone etiquette on our tours: Please be considerate of your fellow passengers and put your cell phone on vibrate, or silent. Refrain from taking calls while on the coach as everyone does not want to hear your conversations.
Radios may be used on the motorcoach only with the use of headphones. Cell phones must be turned off completely in the theaters.
Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. will take single names upon request, and provide your name and phone number to other single, same gender people looking to share the room on a tour or cruise. We suggest you meet for coffee or lunch to talk about the tour and your compatibility before booking.

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. does not discriminate against persons on the basis of disability. We seek to accommodate the needs of all of our passengers so they are able to enjoy our tours. Motorized scooters, electric wheelchairs, and walkers are accommodated, provided they fit in the baggage compartment under the coach.
Our coaches do “kneel” which makes boarding easier. Unfortunately, at this time, our coaches do not accommodate wheelchair-bound guests. All guests must be able to board the motor coach on their own. Motion sickness-prone individuals must provide a physician’s note to sit up front.
Please let us know of any special dietary needs at the time of booking. We will certainly try to accommodate all special requests.

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. organizes and sells tours consisting of services such as airline, cruises, trains, motor coaches, sightseeing, hotel accommodations, and meals, all of which are purchased or reserved by Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc.
The suppliers providing these services for Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. Therefore, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. shall not be responsible for breach of contract or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers.
Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to substitute for similar quality, change, postpone, cancel or deviate from any scheduled itinerary and shall not be liable for any loss incurred by a guest.
Furthermore, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to decline, refuse acceptance of any individual, and in the opinion of the escort, to disembark any guest whose presence, to the detriment of the other guests, disrupts the operation comfort or safety of the tour. In such cases, the guest shall not be entitled to any refund and must assume all expenses, risks, and responsibilities once gone from the tour.
The traveler’s retention of tour confirmation, deposited reservations, or bookings shall constitute consent to all the above and agree to convey the contents hereto to his/her traveling companions.
