Everybody loves this quaint Greek Sponging Village and their authentic Greek food, the Shopping. We’ll stop at The Sponge Factory with Sponging Film, historical photos and more. We’ll also stop at the amazingly beautiful St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, erected in 1943 using marble from Greece and a Byzantine replica of St. Sophia’s in Istanbul. Our group will have lunch at a wonderful Greek Restaurant and you will want to take Greek Pastries home to enjoy, so bring a small cooler! Plus, a drive by “Spring Bayou” with its rich Catholic Traditions and historic antebellum homes along the shore. A delightful day in Tarpon Springs!
