APRIL 22-29, 2024 – KENTUCKY’S BLUEGRASS, BOURBON & HORSES Plus THE ARK –

Join us for a tour of one of the most beautiful states in the country, as we travel to the Bluegrass State and discover its rich culture, amazing history and warm friendly people! This complete tour includes 5 nights at the Hyatt Place in Lexington, were we will depart from each day to experience all the highlights Kentucky as to offer; Keeneland Horse Track tour, Waveland Historic Site, an Antebellum home and enjoy lunch and tea; The town of Frankfort, the state capitol and home of the original famous “Bourbon Balls!”

Learn about Daniel Boone on a tour of Fort Boones borough; and then watch a car being made at the Toyota Factory on a fun Tram ride through the factory; See and pet retired thoroughbreds, at the Old Friends Retirement Farm for Horses. Well spend a very interesting time at the amazing “ARK Encounter” a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. Relax on a wonderful Dinner Cruise on a paddlewheel riverboat on the Ohio River near Cincinnati.

Another adventure begins with a trip to My Old Kentucky Home State Park, now celebrating 200 years and hear the song that Kentucky made famous as well as enjoy their Culinary Biscuit & Home Tour; Tour Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park and see the spring where his mother fetched her water each morning and a replica of the log cabin in which he was born. Another adventure will be a gourmet dinner train ride through the countryside, a Bourbon Distillery Tour and Tasting and Shaker Village, home to the third largest Shaker community in the United States between 1805 and 1910 complete with costumed guides and original Shaker buildings.

Of course, we will overnight in route in both directions because we want this to be an enjoyable and easy tour for all.
