JAN. 31ST SAT. ★ “MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL” #2 – ALHAMBRA & Lunch – $125

Menopause The Musical is a long-running, 90-minute stage musical by Jeanie Linders (an Orlando native) that features parody versions of popular songs from the 1950s through the 1980s to humorously explore the challenges of menopause and aging for women. The show, which premiered in 2001, is known for fostering a sense of sisterhood and empowerment among its audience by addressing common symptoms like hot flashes, memory loss, and mood swings. The longest running scripted musical in Las Vegas history, this parody set to the music of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s will have you dancing in your seats. Join four women as they make you laugh hard enough to forget about your hot flashes. When it opened first in Orlando, Royal Coach Tours was awarded the #1 Group Tour Promoter and Marcya’s husband claimed she saw the show so many times, that she eventually caught “Menopause!”

Menopause The Musical is a stage musical by Jeanie Linders (an Orlando native) that has been performed internationally and is known for being the longest-running scripted production in Las Vegas history. Menopause follows four women—a professional woman, an Earth Mother, an Iowa Housewife, and a Soap Star who meet at a Bloomingdale’s sale in the lingerie department and bond over their shared experiences with menopause. Set to popular songs of 1950s and 60s pop hits. The show features songs that poke fun at issues like hot flashes, memory loss, and body changes, creating a fun and empowering experience for the audience. Featuring 25 parodies of classic songs you know and love, only the words are changed to add to the story. Songs like “Staying Alive” becomes “Staying Awake” and” Night Fever” becomes “Night Sweating” and “My Guy” becomes “My Thighs.” If you haven’t seen it, you should and if you’ve seen it, see it again!
