JOHN’S PASS VILLAGE 40TH ANNUAL SEAFOOD FESTIVAL – PINELLAS COUNTY
PRICE PER PERSON: $46
Located on the waterfront on John’s Pass this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. An outdoor shopping and dining complex, complete with 1100 foot waterfront boardwalk, over 100 merchants and fishing boats inhabit John’s Pass Village. Created by a hurricane in 1848, a pirate named John Levique, was headed to his hideout on what is now Madeira Beach when he ran into the hurricane. The next morning, he realized his island had been cut in two by the storm and his buried treasure was gone forever. He made the first passage through the newly created pass which separates The Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway, thus the name John’s Pass! Join us in celebrating their 40th Annual Seafood Festival with arts, crafts, live entertainment and Great Seafood. Optional 90-minute Dolphin Boat Tour is available, call for details.
