Flights into Lyon begins your 7-night river cruise and fly home from Nice. You discover France’s Burgundy Wine
region as you travel through quaint villages and visit one of the finest examples of French 15thcentury architecture
and have wine, cheese and olive tastings. At the confluence of the Rhone and Saone Rivers is the city of Lyon, a
former Roman capital. A guided tour of Lyon starts with a drive to the hilltop church, the Basilique Notre Dame de
Fourviere and then pass the recently re-discovered Roman amphitheater. You’ll tour the town of Tournon,
dominated by the 16th century castle, Roman ruins and travel through the valley beneath the steep slopes of
France’s 3rd largest mountain range. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the cities of Avignon and Arles are
waiting for you to explore their rich, preserved history such as The Palace of The Popes and the city that inspired
many Van Gogh paintings! The grand finale is a tour by coach to visit Monaco on the French Riviera, home to the
Grand Prix, Casino’s and the Palace of Monaco- home to the late actress, Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco. We are
